I get where she’s coming from but it loses a bit of validity when you take into consideration that the girl is gorgeous and to borrow a quote from you ‘entirely fuckable’. Personally I would have slapped the woman who only gave a shit about her losing weight, fucking idiot.
I was thinking afterwards that I don’t know anything about Hermione since I haven’t read the series. But I do know my guy friends all adore Hermione so yeah. GRAIN OF SALT!

It’s funny how all the insults the world throws at women are about how we don’t do what they want us to do—-fat, slut, ugly—–i want to know if somebody steals, kicks kitties, lies, votes Republican, doesn’t keep promises. Can’t tell those things from somebody’s thigh size or how much traffic their vagina gets.

Just the other day I was talking to a guy I was interested in about what we are looking for in people and the first thing he “had to get out of the way” was that he had to be attracted to the person. Which is an odd thing to say really, unless you kept following the discussion and discovered he is a porn gen baby… and being attracted to someone meant they were suitably fuckable. Meanwhile I started off my list in my head with qualities like intelligence, articulate, socially aware, etc. Now if you ask me, that’s PRETTY FUCKING TELLING. ❤
